Stunning skyline views from our room, especially of the Empire State Building. Breakfast area was chaotic and crowded every morning. The elevators took quite a long time during peak hours, making mornings frustrating. Happy hour at the bar was nice, with good service. Overall a decent place but needs to work on breakfast organization and elevator efficiency.

Good location and fast wi-fi. Elevators were slow, had to wait too long.

The view from my room was stunning, especially at night. The elevators were incredibly slow during peak hours, often forcing me to take the stairs. Breakfast is decent but gets very crowded after 8 am. Happy hour at the bar is a nice touch to unwind after a day out.

The room featured a comfortable bed, which was a highlight. the air-conditioning was quite loud and needed to be turned off at night. The view from our 33rd-floor room was outstanding, overlooking the Statue of Liberty, but it came with a $5 extra charge. The room size felt compact, making movement tricky at times. Cleanliness was up to standard. Despite some small inconveniences, like slow elevators during peak hours, the overall comfort of the room made for a pleasant stay.

I arrived at 1am, exhausted after a long flight, only to find my room had been cancelled. Waiting for hours at immigration was tough, but losing my reservation felt totally unfair—just when I needed a place to crash.

Location is outstanding. Just steps from the subway and Eataly. Perfect proximity to Chelsea Market, The Highline, and even Central Park. The hotel is a well-placed hub for exploration. Rooms were clean and well-maintained. Staff, especially Dabriel and Citlalli, were friendly and welcoming, truly enhancing the experience. Breakfast exceeded expectations, though the dining area struggled with crowding. the thermostat was problematic. Despite showing 71 degrees, it felt freezing at night. Minor inconveniences, like scratchy towels and a lack of amenities, were noted. Elevators frequently caused delays, especially during peak hours. With some adjustments, this place could shine even brighter. Attention to detail would elevate an otherwise solid stay.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The room, while cozy, was spotless and had the most gorgeous city view from the 33rd floor. The staff were super friendly, and the location made it a breeze to explore the city!
Couldn't recommend more! ❤️😍

The location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Empire State Building. The rooms are bigger than typical for the city, and the beds are comfortable. breakfast was repetitive and seating was cramped. The elevator situation was tricky during busy hours, especially with a stroller. Housekeeping, led by the attentive Jimena, was a highlight, though the cleanliness could be more thorough. Some amenities felt lacking, like limited toiletries and space for luggage. Still, the friendly staff and central access made it a memorable stay.

The hotel is perfectly situated just a few steps away from many subway stations, making it super easy to explore vibrant neighborhoods and visit iconic attractions like Times Square and the Empire State Building, both less than 1 km away; plus, spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline from certain rooms, enhancing the overall experience. The breakfast is a nice added touch, with good coffee and tasty options, although the storage space in the rooms could be improved, with limited wardrobe space and a sliding bathroom door that offers less privacy.

The view from my room is absolutely breathtaking. The location is perfect for exploring and the staff is friendly, always willing to help.
Getting a table for breakfast feels like a game of musical chairs.

Staying at Hyatt Place New York Chelsea was a delight! The breathtaking views of the Empire State Building from our room were unforgettable. The staff were incredibly helpful, always with a smile. Despite a busy breakfast scene, we found the food satisfying and the ambiance enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Got lost in the hotel labyrinth but was saved by the staff at the front desk. The gym was so fancy I almost mistook it for a spa. I felt like a fit queen among the exercise machines.
Who doesn't love waiting endlessly for crowded elevators? .

The location was great, with easy access to restaurants, transit, and attractions nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with friendly staff at reception. The fact that they put our two rooms next to each other was a nice touch that added to our convenience during the stay.
The breakfast area was small and crowded, making it difficult to find seating and enjoy a relaxed meal. Additionally, there were issues with the elevators being overloaded and slow during peak times, causing delays and frustration for guests.

Comfortable beds, comfortable shower with great water pressure and an adjustable shower head that made our stay pleasant and refreshing during our busy exploration of the city.
Nothing to be said.

The staff was welcoming and always ready to help. We enjoyed the rooftop bar with awesome views, perfect for evening drinks.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but worth it for the experience.

Upon arriving at the Hyatt Place, I was a bit surprised by the misleading name. While the location was convenient and the view from my room on the 20th floor was stunning, there were some drawbacks. The room felt cramped, especially the small bathroom with a sliding door that didn't offer much privacy. The noise from the ventilation system was quite bothersome, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. One of the major issues was the slow and sometimes out-of-service elevators. It would often take 15-20 minutes for one to arrive, causing delays and frustration. the breakfast area was crowded and lacked variety, with disposable plates and cutlery adding to the less-than-ideal experience. the staff at the Hyatt Place were friendly and accommodating, making the check-in and checkout process smooth and easy. The room and facilities were kept clean, the beds were comfortable, and fresh towels were provided daily. Despite the shortcomings, the hotel's central location near subway stations made it convenient for exploring the city. In summary, while there were some inconveniences such as the noisy ventilation and slow elevators, the friendly staff and cleanliness of the rooms made the stay at Hyatt Place tolerable.

The room had a great view from the 32nd floor and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast options were poor, with cheap products and dirty tables. The elevators were often overcrowded, making it a long wait, especially during busy times.

The location of this hotel was spot on! Surrounded by great restaurants and stores, we had no trouble finding places to eat or shop. Staying on the 44th floor gave us breathtaking skyline views, making our city trip even more special.
Getting to my room on the 33rd floor could be a bit of a wait, as there are only four elevators. Breakfast was always a bit crowded, so it's best to get there early to avoid the rush!

The Hyatt Place in Chelsea was the perfect base for my NYC adventure. The location was fantastic, with easy access to all the midtown attractions via the nearby metro stations. The hotel staff were exceptional, providing a warm welcome and going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The room was cozy and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, keeping me connected throughout my stay.
The occasional long wait for the elevators, but the exercise climbing the stairs helped offset some of those extra indulgences in the city.
